Samsung offering $30 gift card to Galaxy S7, S7 edge owners who use Samsung Pay

Mobile payments are taking off in a big way and Samsung has sought to get in on the action with Samsung Pay. As the company launches its latest flagships, it’s using the release as an opportunity to increase the amount of customers using Samsung Pay. In order to grow that number, Samsung is now offering a $30 gift card to Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge owners who make a purchase with Samsung Pay between March 11 and March 31.

Once they’ve made their purchase, users can choose a $30 gift card from one of five merchants: Best Buy, eBay, Whole Foods, Nike or Regal Entertainment. Once you choose your gift card, it will be added to your Samsung Pay Wallet.

Again, this is only open to Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge owners who make a qualifying purchase. It should be noted that customers using Bank of America debit and private label cards are not eligible for this offer. All other Samsung Pay-compatible cards will work.

For eligible customers, this is an easy way to score a gift card. It’s not the first time we’ve seen a company offer a reward for those who use a mobile payments service. Google has offered several perks for Android Pay users, ranging from Best Buy gift cards to free songs and even to a free Chromecast for users.
