DroidGamers Deals: Raspberry Pi 2 Starter Kit, Stone River Academy Lifetime Subscription and more

Published on Tuesday, 22 December 2015 18:33

It's time for another DroidGamers Deals post, and this time there's three different ones we have. First, there is the complete Raspberry Pi 2 starter kit available for 85% off. Then there is the Stone River Academy Lifestime Subscription that is 92% off. Lastly, there is the Pay What You Want for a VPN Lifetime Subscription Bundle.

Raspberry Pi 2 Starter Kit

Starting off with the Raspberry Pi 2 starter kit, this bundle comes with 7 different items. You will get the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B computer, the Quick Starter Kit for the Rasberry Pi 2 Model B, and then 5 different course for you to work your way through. This way you have everything you need to start coding with your Raspberry Pi 2 and building whatever you want.

Raspberry Pi 2 Model B Features:

- Game, compute & program 6x faster than w/ the previous version
- Enjoy wider compatibility w/ the new ARMv7 quad core processor
- Benefit from more memory: 1 GB RAM vs 512 MB (it has doubled!)
- Run more apps simultaneously without lag
- Use w/ all of the accessories made for the B+
- Get backward compatibility w/ most Raspberry Pi Model B+ projects
- Connect a Raspberry Pi camera & touchscreen display (each sold separately)
- Stream & watch hi-definition 1080P video

Even though these little guys are small, they do pack a pretty good punch and can do quite a lot with them, especially if you know what you're doing. Usually this bundle costs $804 but for the next few days you can pick one up for 85% off, which is $115 in price.

Stone River Academy Lifetime Subscription

The second deal we have going is a lifetime subscription to the Stone River Academy. This is basically a place that has a lot of different courses you can take online to learn a variety of different things, such as programming (multiple languages), 3D Animation, Mobile Programming, Game Development, Unity 3D, Java, CSS, and a lot more. Every month there are between 2 and 5 courses added, so there will also be something to learn and of the latest versions.

Right now there is a total of 90 courses which equals 2000+ hours of content to go through. This would normally cost $1,445 but for the next 24 hours it is available at 92% off its regular price, which works out to be $109. Great as a last minute present from yourself or someone else who wants to learn all kinds of programming, game development, and anything else they want.

Pay What You Want: VPN Bundle

The last deal is a Pay What You Want bundle for VPN Lifetime Subscriptions. This works just like any other Pay Want You Want bundle, in that you can pay whatever you want over $1 and get a 1-yr subscription to AnonVPN. Pay above the average amount at the time of your purchase and you will get a lifetime subscription to AnonVPN and a lifetime subscription to Nonkly Disposal Email service.

There is a lot you can do with VPN services, but what we use them for it to log into Google Play from another country so we can access location-locked games (such as games released only in Japan for example), or any games that are soft launched and not globally launched yet. But there is a lot you can do with a VPN. There's four days left in the Pay What You Want bundle and, like always, if you get onto the leaderboard you will be entered into the giveaway for this particular bundle. Also 10% of all proceeds go to Save The Children charity.
