Com2us' Summoners War to get a major update next month called Rift of Worlds

Com2us has announced today that they have a major update in the pipeline for their Summoners War title on Android. This update, called Rift of Worlds, is actually something players have been waiting to have arrive for quite some time, having been staring at it on the battle map since June 2014. This will be the first time for it to be unlocked and accessible to players.

While Rift of Worlds is the major focus for this update, it isn't the only thing to be arriving either. When the update arrives, the official opening for Rift of Worlds will happen, although full details on what will take place is still being kept under wraps. We do know a few things though that will arrive once it is open.

- World Boss: Players can now battle against the World Boss, a massive giant, bigger and more powerful than the giants found in the Cairos Dungeon. Each player can use 20 monsters to attack the Boss. Players will be ranked based on damage dealt and treasure boxes will be rewarded accordingly.
- Raid Boss: The release of the long-awaited Rift of Worlds will introduce a three-headed Raid Boss. Teams of three players can be formed to combat the Boss together in real time; each player attacking one of the heads. This new feature allows players to share leader skills and harmful effects and ban together to create strategic battle formations.
- New Rune Features: A new Rune Enchantment feature allows players to amplify or convert properties of existing Runes by acquiring special gems and grindstones featured in the new boss content.
- New Skins for Monsters: New skins will be released for several popular monsters, including Vampire, Valkyrja, and Pixie. Skins will be available for all elements of each character.

These are just the bigger features that will be arriving with Rift of Worlds. Pre-registration is now open for this update and if you sign-up, you will receive in-game items including a Mystical Scroll and a collection of Angelmons. As for when this update will arrive exactly, that hasn't been announced as of yet, only that it will be happening next month.
