Save Halloween and all its candy in Slashy Hero, now on Google Play

Slashy Hero, as one might expect, is a hack and slash adventure game that's now available on Google Play. Developed by The Gentlebros, and published by Kongregate, Slashy Hero is a roguelike game, only more casual. The story for is straightforward: there is a malevolent force on the loose who's absconded with all the world's candy and sweets.

Players will assume the role of Slashy, and strike out to save the tasty treats. Slashy will face a variety of Halloween themed villains that are bent on stopping him and include the likes of ghosts, possessed tombstones, Jack O' Lanterns, as well as the bosses.

- 48 levels of action-packed mystery
- 30 awesome costumes
- Hack n' dash movement
- Secret rooms
- Infinite mode with leaderboards

Gameplay is simple: players will trace a pathway on the screen for Slsahy to follow, and he slashes his sword along the way, wiping out all that get in his way. The game has different 48 levels, and those levels employ a checkpoint system allowing players to save their progress in the levels. Hidden throughout this mansion are thirty different costumes, with each having the ability to boost a star while it's being worn. Defeating a boss and consuming its candy after defeating it will raise your base stats.

Slashy Hero also contains an endless mode where players can compete on global leaderboards. For those of you wanting to check this game out, Slashy Hero is available off of Google Play for free with optional IAPs as well. You can also check out the game in action with the video below.
