Xiaomi Begins Preparing For U.S. Patent War

Xiaomi has filed for 2000 patents and are seeking more for their war chest in preparation for their U.S. launch. In a meeting with Hugo Barra, he stated that Xiaomi had not copied Apple with the design of the Mi4 and that the notion was simply “melodrama”.
