Square Enix reveals that Hitman Sniper will be landing on Google Play tomorrow

Almost a year ago exactly Square Enix had announced that the next Hitman game to hit mobile devices would be called Hitman Sniper. Fast forward through time in order to come back to today, Square Enix has announced that Hitman Sniper will be launching onto Google Play tomorrow. The timing is quite good.

For those of you who missed our previous coverage, Hitman Sniper is a completely different game than Hitman GO. In this game, players will be working their way through different scenarios and contracts, all of which will require you to use sniper skills or just general assassination techniques. Everything will take place on one big ever evolving map that will contain plenty of targets. In order to complete these contracts and assignments, players will also need to utilize different vantage points and rooftops. This game is all about finesse really.

All of the assignments in Hitman Sniper are designed to be played repeatedly, either to try and improve your score or to better your skills in general. There will be roguelike mechanics as well, so every time you play an assignment, it won't be exactly the same as previous tries. There also will be leaderboard for players to compete in as well, so getting the perfect score isn't just to satisfy yourself but also to try and get to the top of those leaderboards.

Hitman Sniper will be launching tomorrow on Google Play and it will be a premium title according to Square Enix. There was no mention of what price it will be though. We will post an update tomorrow when the game does launch.
