Halfbrick will be releasing Radical Rappelling onto Google Play tomorrow

Tomorrow is turning out to be a pretty big day of game releases already for Android gamers to check out. Another game we can expect to arrive tomorrow is a new title from Halfbrick called Radical Rappelling. This particular game goes back to Halfbrick's roots in a lot of ways, where it is all about getting a high score, similar to Jetpack Joyride.

Radical Rappelling is a fast-paced arcade game where players are tasked with using speed, skill, and even a little twitch-style gaming to try and get as high of a score as possible before dying. This can be done, aside from not dying right away, by avoiding ridiculous obstacles and pulling off over-the-top tricks. Halfbrick has also added a volatile volcano just for good measure because, why not? All of this will be accomplished by controlling Rip and Roxy as they try to outrun molten lava while rappelling down a mountainside.

Since this is about being fast, you can't take your time going down the mountain, otherwise the lava falling after you will burn you horribly until you are dead. This also means you will have to be quick when avoiding obstacles and pulling off tricks such as ricocheting between launch pads and riding rainbows. Characters will level up from XP gained each run, as well as collecting coins that can be used to buy new accessories in the shop, of which there are over 200 of them to choose from. There's also plenty of power-ups and other goodies to collect and use while rappelling down the mountain.

Radical Rappelling will be launching tomorrow on Google Play and will be available for free when it does launch globally. There will be optional IAPs available as well for extra in-game currency.
