Sega has removed additional games from mobile markets

Published on Monday, 25 May 2015 09:13

A week ago today Sega took the first steps in removing games from both Android and iOS marketplaces that don't meet their new standards for mobile games. While Android only saw two games disappear, those being After Burner Climax and Jet Set Radio, iOS users saw a lot more games go poof. Well a week later more games have been removed from both platforms for the same reason.

Again iOS lost more than Android but both platforms still lost some more games. ChuChu Rocket! has been removed from both platforms. Other games include Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage 2, Shinobi III, Sonic Spinball, and Shining Force, although most of those were on iOS.

As it stands right now, none of the removed games have any plans to return to Google Play or iTune anytime soon, if at all. It could happen but if it does, it won't be for quite some time.
