The LG G3 on Sprint is now receiving an over-the-air update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Manufacturers and carriers have been hard at work testing and pushing out updates to Android 5.0 Lollipop. In the U.S., most of last year’s flagships are beginning to receive their updates to Lollipop. Sprint has been the fastest carrier in this round of updates and it can now add the LG G3 to its list.
G3 users can expect a wide range of improvements and new features in what is one of the biggest Android updates. Those include a new Material Design-inspired UI, improved handling of notifications on the lockscreen, better battery life and the ability to customize what sorts of notifications you get. The update should be a good one, and we’d love to hear from you first-hand about how you’re enjoying it. Once you’ve received the update, leave a comment down below with your thoughts!
