Scott Cawthon, the creator of the massively successful 'Five Night's At Freddy's' series gave the internet quite a scare over the weekend when he lied about his upcoming sequel being cancelled.

Posting on Steam, Scott announced that the game had been hacked and leaked online. As a result he would be cancelling the releasing of the third installment altogether. Luckily for horror fans this turned out to be a massive prank (almost a month and a half before April). The leaked game was nothing more than a re-release of his old runner 'There Is No Pause Button!'.

Not as scary as FNAF but just as frustrating.

The only difference? The runners face has been replaced with Freddy Fazbear's. Good job trolling the internet Scott, well done! As for the third installment into the series, development is moving full speed ahead according to Scott.
