Deadman's Cross from Square Enix has been available on mobile devices for some time now. In case you didn't know, this was actually an exclusive release for mobile devices... that is until today. Square Enix has release Deadman's Cross onto the PS Vita (accessible through the Playstation Network). With this release onto the PS Vita, Sqaure Enix has expanded the cross-platform multiplayer features to include this new PS Vita release.

If you are not familiar with this game, Deadman's Cross is Square Enix zombie-filled card game. However there is more to the game than just collecting cards as you can participate in full 3D FPS-style zombie hunts. Up until now the game has only been available for Android and iOS users.

However today the game has arrived for the PS Vita and is fully compatible with the cross-platform multiplayer features that the Android and iOS versions came with. This means your friends who own a PS Vita can now pick up Deadman's Cross and either team up with you in Co-op multiplayer or fight against you in PvP multiplayer using their PS Vita copy of the game.

Square Enix also has a couple of interesting promotions going on with  Deadman's Cross. If you have the game but haven't logged into it since January 17th, 2015, if you log into it starting today, you will receive a 'special item' as a welcome back type of gift. This promotion starts today and runs until the end of March 2015.

The other promotion is actually a cross-over event with Resident Evil franchise. Resident Evil Revelations 2 (official website) will be crossing over with Deadman's Cross starting February 25th. As for what exactly will come with this event hasn't been announced just yet. We will post an update when more details are released. Square Enix did release a preview trailer for this cross-over which you can view in the video below.  Deadman's Cross is available off of Google Play for free with optional IAPs available.
