If you’re a phablet lover and are either already on Cricket or in the hunt for a new carrier, you may want to turn your attention to ZTE’s newest offering.
The ZTE Grand X Max+ is the successor to the Grand X Max that launched last year. While the Grand X Max+ has the same 6-inch display as its predecessor, it’s gotten spec bumps in many other places, including its rear camera (13-megapixel versus 8-megapixel), front camera (5-megapixel wide angle versus 1-megapixel), RAM (2GB versus 1GB), and more.
The full spec rundown for the ZTE Grand X Max+ looks like this:
- 6-inch HD touchscreen
- 1.2GHz quad-core processor
- 13-megapixel rear camera
- 5-megapixel front camera with wide angle lens
- 16GB of storage
- microSD card slot
- 2GB of RAM
- 3200mAh battery
- Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0
- Dolby Audio for “premium sound”
- 4G LTE connectivity
Cricket will begin selling the ZTE Grand X Max+ in stores and online beginning January 9. Pricing will be set at $199.99, which is pretty affordable compared to many other phablet-sized smartphones on the market.
