Motorola’s Droid Turbo will feature a massive 3900 mAh battery

If a recent leak on the Motorola Droid Turbo is to be believed, the device might just turn out to be the everlasting smartphone you’ve been dreaming of.

According to a photo uploaded on the Chinese site TaoBao, Motorola has made a battery under the model number “EQ40″ with a capacity of 3900 mAh. In recent FCC filings for a Motorola device assumed to be the Droid Turbo, the device was listed as using a battery with the model number of, you guessed it, EQ40. For those of you not following along, that means there is a very good chance that when the unannounced Motorola Droid Turbo is finally announced, it will be with a 3900 mAh battery in tow.

With the amount of leaks and info we’ve seen on the Droid Turbo lately, we have to believe an official announcement is right around the corner. Droid-Life is saying to expect the device at the very end of October, so you may want to mark that on your calendars.
