Moto G LTE for AT&T available starting October 10 for $179.99 sans contract

On Monday, October 6, AT&T officially announced via their blog that they will release the older Moto G with 4G LTE connectivity on Friday, October 10.

The announcement comes more than a month after Motorola officially launched the successor to the Moto G, but for anyone who is looking for a cheaper Android device, the older Moto G has quite a bit to offer for a relatively low entry point. AT&T is offering their Next program as an option as well, with Next 18 putting the device at $7.50 per month, or Next 12 for only $9 per month. With a one-year contract, AT&t will sell the handset for $79.99. Or, if you want to skip a contract or annual agreement altogether, it’ll cost $179.99. It will be available through AT&T’s online sales and from physical retail shops.

The old Moto G features a 4.5-inch 720p HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood and a microSD card slot. You can check out AT&T’s “Moto G Highlights” video below, which does a nice job of outlining some of the key aspects of the older handset.

Do you plan on picking up the Moto G LTE?
