HTC plans 'Double Exposure' event for Oct. 8

Well now. HTC has just scheduled an event for Oct. 8 in New York City, with "Double Exposure" apparently the theme. That's an obvious play on the HTC One M8's DuoCamera system, which uses a secondary lens for the ability to add some interesting effects.

Less obvious, however, is what it might actually mean. HTC's still on the official list of companies coming to the Android Wear party — and that is an awfully obvious wrist in the image there. Or there's still the rumored HTC tablet floating around. Or maybe even a new phone?
