T-Mobile HTC One (M8) getting beefy Android 4.4.3 update
Is there a better way to start the week than with a significant software update for your smartphone? I’d say no, and after today, I’m betting T-Mobile HTC One (M8) owners will agree.
T-Mobile is now pushing Android 4.4.3 to its version of the HTC One (M8), bumping the device up to software version 2.22.531.5. The update is 582.04MB in size and includes the following tweaks:
System improvements
- Android 4.4.3
- Security fixes
Performance optimization
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- Mobile network
- Application updates
Camera
- Gallery (Image Match)
- Settings (Power History)
- HTC Sync Manager
Sense experience optimization
- HTC BoomSound
- Extreme Power Saving Mode
- Motion Launch
- Quick Setting
I know, I know, this is an Android 4.4.3 update and not an Android 4.4.4 one. But HTC has said that it’s rolled the Android 4.4.4 bug fixes into its Android 4.4.3 update, so you One (M8) folk are still getting the goodies from the 4.4.4 update.
If you’ve got a T-Mobile-flavored HTC One (M8), you can check for this update manually by clicking to Settings > About > Software updates > Check Now. Be sure to give us a shout in the comments below once you get updated!
