Lyft Android App's New Wear Support Lets You Request A Car From Your Wrist Using Only Your Voice

Arranging transportation can be time consuming, so the Lyft folks crammed the ability to locate and schedule a ride into a simple app. Still, while using a smartphone is easy, even that can take up too much time (work with me here). Now the company has added Android Wear support that lets you request a ride by speaking into your wrist. Stop everything, guys. I think this is as easy as things are going to get.

As you can see, much of the app's functionality has been crammed nicely into the small real estate provided by Android Wear devices. We've run the app through the its paces, and initial impressions are that it's pretty fantastic. Once those G Watches and Gear Lives you've ordered land at your door, just head over to the Play Store below and give the Lyft app a download to see for yourself.

Born and raised in the rural South, Bertel knows what it's like to live without 4G LTE - or 3G, for that matter. The only things he likes sweeter than his tea are his gadgets, and while few objects burn more than a metal phone on a summer day, he prefers them that way anyway.
