We haven't reported on the progress regarding the big 0.9.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition in quite some time but now it looks like it might be worth posting an update. Why is that you might ask? Because it appears that the 0.9.0 update will be arriving as soon as tomorrow or as late as next week. It all stems on about seven bugs that need squashing.

The Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.9.0 will be one of the biggest updates to arrive for the game. We've gone over plenty of what will be arriving when it does land but there has been even more added to the update since then.

Lava Drips and New Crafting Screen

For those of you who haven't been kept in the loop regarding what will be arriving, here's the rather long list:

- Caves
- 10+ New Blocks
- Endermen
- Slimes
- Wolves
- Trees
- Mycelium
- Stained Clay
- Red Sand
- Granite, Diorite, Andesite (Smooth as well)
- Lava and Water Drips
- New Crafting Screen
- Grass Transitions
- Immersion Mode

On top of all of that new content and features, the 0.9.0 update will also have a slew of multiplayer enhancements coming along with it. According to Jeb, we could see the update arriving as soon as tomorrow or as late as next week (Monday was specifically mentioned). So everyone who has been waiting patiently all this time for the 0.9.0 update, your wait is almost over.
