HalfBrick has decided to break into the world of sim games with the release of a new title called Band Stars onto Android finally. This particular game puts players in control of starting a band and working your way from a little garage band to superstars in the music industry. At least that is what the goal is. Whether you make it there or not is up to how good you are.

Players will have to put together their band, eventually substituting out members for new ones you come across, and training your members to get better. However this game goes far beyond just putting a band together. Players will be able to blend musical genres and lyrics from songs in order to create new ones in the hopes of having it become a hit on local, national and global charts.

Band Stars Features:

• Compete with your friends for the highest chart position and the most fans
• Blend different genres and lyrical styles to create chart topping hits
• Pull off insane solos to boost your song points
• Hire and train your band members
• Unlock all 50 band members, each with their own style and set of custom challenges
• Earn piles of coin and upgrade your gear to dominate the world of music
• Deck out your studio with hot tubs and arcade machines to keep your musicians happy

Of course part of the road to success with having a band is making sure you hold some very successful concerts and making sure your band looks good too. Eventually you'll have a complete studio to record your music in and a pile of money to enjoy.

For those of you interested in checking out this new game from HalfBrick, you can download Band Stars off of Google Play for free.
