DroidPack Brings Together the Wallpapers of Dozens of Flagship Devices and ROMs

Adding a new wallpaper is perhaps one of the most noticeable ways we can spruce up our mobile devices. Although there’s nothing particularly fancy or impressive about changing one’s wallpaper image, doing so effectively changes your device’s overall feel. Perhaps that’s why Apple finally saw the light and allowed iOS users to set home screen wallpapers with iOS 4 in 2010. It’s OK, though–they’re always a few years behind. This is also why we’ve grown accustomed to seeing particular wallpapers on particular devices, ROMs, and OSes.

You may recall that a little while ago, we covered WallpaperPlus by XDA Forum Moderator wildstang83. For those who don’t remember, this app brought together the stock wallpapers from many devices and custom ROMs. But like always, having more options is always preferable. And with that, we present DroidPack by XDA Forum Member donniemceduns.

DroidPack works similarly to the previously covered WallpaperPlus by allowing you to select between the stock wallpapers from various OEMs and ROMs. But unlike the previously covered solution, DroidPack’s collection is categorized and even allows users to search for specific ROMs, OEMs, Android versions, or OSes. And yes, I did say “OSes.” This app also allows you to load wallpapers from non-Android devices such as iOS 7 and 8–though I have no idea why anyone would want to do that.
