Straight Talk’s $45 plan now offers 3GB of high-speed data

Who loves more wireless data? I’m betting that most smartphone owners do, and today anyone that’s already on Straight Talk or is considering jumping to the prepaid provider are getting some good news on that subject.

Straight Talk has announced that it’s upping the high-speed data allotment of its $45 prepaid plan. The plan previously offered unlimited data with 2.5GB of high-speed data, but now that plan offers 3GB of high-speed data for the same price. The $45 plan also includes unlimited talk and text.

While 500MB may not sound like much, it’s always nice to get additional high-speed data for no additional charge. That’s precisely what Straight Talk-ers on the $45 plan are now getting, and for anyone that’s not already on Straight Talk, that offering just became a bit more attractive.

Straight Talk also says that it has improved its $30 “All You Need” plan. The offering includes 1500 minutes, unlimited text and 100MB of data.
