Microsoft OneDrive App Updated To v2.5 With Sorting, Sharing, And Other Things It Probably Should Have Already Had
Microsoft's recently renamed OneDrive cloud storage platform doesn't get as much love as Dropbox, but it's a solid system that's built right into Windows. The Android app has been getting some attention as of late, and the most recent update seems to have finally made it a capable cloud file manager.
Here's the changelog for version 2.5, and yes, apparently these features were missing until now.
- Share files by inviting people, sending a link, or sending files to another app
- Select multiple files to download
- Move files and folders
- Sort files and folders
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
It's not only easier to find files now with sorting, but you can move and share them. This is some basic stuff that I'm a little surprised Microsoft didn't include before this update, but at least it's here now. Maybe it's time to give SkyDrive OneDrive another look.
