Redbox Instant for Android gains Chromecast support with latest update

Many of us cannot live without our Chromecasts anymore. The cheap little dongles changed our lives significantly, allowing us to stream our media from a phone directly to the TV with no extra interfaces or laggy “smart” systems to go through. A press of a button gets your media on the TV. It’s as simple as that.

Chromecast support adoption has been steadily increasing, and the latest app to add this support is Redbox Instant. While not as popular or diverse as Netflix, it has its perks. If you’re a Redbox customer and you use the app, download the update from the Play Store so you can stream it to your TV!
