Ravenous Games has apparently been keeping themselves busy with a new game the company has been working on called Devious Dungeon. For those of you who do not recognize this company right away, they were the folks behind the League of Evil series of games. In fact this new game is somewhat styled after their previous release called Random Heroes.

While there isn't a whole lot of details regarding this game just yet, according to the company, they are trying to go back to their roots from back when they created League of Evil and are trying to recreate some of the magic that they made back with that series and how the fans love that franchise. So what exactly does this mean? Basically it means Devious Dungeon will be a retro-style platformer with one button for attacking, another for jumping, and plenty of challenging gameplay throughout the title itself.

Apparently your goal to is go after a king who is located at the top of a castle. In order to do so, you'll need to work your way through various levels of a dungeon that the castle is sitting on. We can expect not only challenging levels but enemies to deal with as well.

As for when Devious Dungeon will be released, Ravenous Games doesn't have a set date just yet. The company is looking at an 'end of February' time frame though so it won't be too long of a wait.
