Samsung Galaxy Watch gets discounted in 42mm and 46mm sizes

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch is getting its first significant discount.

Amazon is now offering discounts on both the 42mm and 46mm versions of the Samsung Galaxy Watch. The 42mm model has had its price reduced to $299, while the larger 46mm version is down to $319. Both are the U.S. versions of the watches that come with a warranty. The 42mm is available in Midnight Black and Rose Gold colors, while the 46mm comes in Silver.

The Galaxy Watch is Samsung’s new flagship smartwatch, offering specs like a 1.15GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, and 4GB of built-in storage. Both models also offer heart rate tracking, IP68 water and dust resistance, and NFC for Samsung Pay. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch runs Tizen software, but it’s compatible with both Android and iOS smartphones.

There are a few big differences between the two models that are worth being aware of. The 42mm model comes with a round 1.2-inch 360×360 Super AMOLED screen and a 270mAh battery, and it’s compatible with 20mm watch bands. Meanwhile, the 46mm has a circular 1.3-inch 360×360 Super AMOLED display and 472mAh battery, and it supports 22mm watch bands.
