AT&T and Sprint launch Samsung Galaxy S9 deals

Today is the day, Galaxy S9 fans. The handset is officially launching, bringing with it another version of Samsung’s Infinity Display, an eye-catching purple color, and a repositioned fingerprint sensor.

To celebrate, wireless carriers are getting in on the promotional fun, with AT&T and Sprint going to bat today. Both promos are designed around each carrier’s monthly payment options, so keep that in mind. They are both live beginning today, March 16.

First up, Sprint is offering what it calls a “Lease One, Get One” offer for Samsung’s newest flagship smartphone. That means when you buy a Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ on a lease, you can get a second Galaxy S9 for free on another leasing agreement. You will need to activate at least one new line to get this deal, too, so bear that in mind.

Meanwhile, AT&T is offering 50 percent off the Galaxy S9 if you sign up for an AT&T Next agreement. This deal will expire on March 31, and you will be getting the discount on the handset via monthly credits applied directly to your bill.

That breaks down to just $26.34 per month for 30 months on AT&T Next, or $32.92 per month for 24 months with AT&T’s Next Every Year option.

That’s not all, though. If you want a Galaxy S9+ or a Galaxy Note 8, AT&T has you covered as well. The big Bblue carrier is offering $395 off both smartphones, with the Galaxy S9+ coming in at $30.50 per month on AT&T Next, or $38.13 per month for 24 months with AT&T Next Every Year. The Galaxy Note 8 will cost $31.67 per month for 30 months on AT&T Next, or $39.59 per month for 24 months with AT&T Next Every Year.

So, who’s picking up a new Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ with one of these deals from AT&T or Sprint?
