Leaked images reveal the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 1

At this year’s Mobile World Congress, HMD Global is expected to unveil two new smartphones with the Nokia logo stamped on the back: The Nokia 7 Plus and the Nokia 1.

Ahead of that big reveal, serial leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) has taken to Twitter to post a few images, revealing the front and back of both handsets. There isn’t a lot known about either model, but the rumor mill has let slip a few key elements of the upcoming Nokia 7 Plus up to this point. As you can see pictured above, the handset will boast a pair of Carl Zeiss cameras on the back, and it will reportedly feature a display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Nokia 7 Plus is also rumored to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor under the hood and may come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. The images also point to a rear fingerprint reader on the back.

And as noted by Blass in the tweet showing off the Nokia 7 Plus, the smartphone will launch as an Android One device. It will also come in a white finish with copper accents and apparently a brown color also with the copper accents.

Meanwhile, Blass also shared an image of the entry-level Nokia 1. This is a handset that will have a smaller display than the Nokia 7 Plus, boast bigger bezels, and only a single camera on the back. There’s no other word on what the Nokia 1 might bring to the table, unfortunately, but it will likely offer a pretty cheap price tag.

What do you think of the Nokia 7 Plus? Have you tried any of Nokia’s and HMD Global’s Android devices?
