Verizon will update its prepaid plans on June 6th

Next Tuesday, some new prepaid plans will be rolling out at Verizon.

Verizon says that on June 6th, it’ll begin offering new prepaid rate plans that start out at $30 per month for unlimited talk and text as well as 3GB of high-speed data. Going up to $50 will get you 7GB of high-speed data, while $60 will get you 10GB of high-speed data each month.

These new plans include mobile hotspot, Carryover Data for bringing your unused data from one month into the next, and Always On data that’ll keep data flowing at 2G speeds after you use up your high-speed allotment. Unlimited calling from the U.S. to Canada and Mexico is included, too, as well as unlimited texting to more than 200 international destinations. One other detail to note about these plans is that video will stream at 480p.

Verizon will continue to offer its $80 unlimited high-speed data plan as well.

These new prepaid plans are improvements over Verizon’s existing prepaid offers when it comes to the data that you’re getting for your money. However, the 480p video streaming might be a disappointment to some folks. If you’re interested in signing up for one of Verizon’s new prepaid plans, you can do so next week.
