Amazon discounting Echo and Echo Dot

We’ve seen Amazon put its Alexa-enabled Echo speaker on sale a few times in recent months, but if you missed out on any of those deals, you’re now getting another chance at a discounted Echo.

The Amazon Echo is now on sale for $139.99, which is $40 off its normal asking price. That deal is good on both the black and white versions of the Echo, and the device is currently listed as being in stock and ready to ship.

If you’re looking for a smart speaker that’s a bit cheaper, the Echo Dot is now on sale, too. Amazon is asking $39.99 for the Echo Dot, a $10 discount off of its normal price. The Echo Dot is also in stock and ready to ship.

Both the Echo and Echo Dot are powered by Amazon’s Alexa assistant and can integrate with smart home devices like Philips Hue and Wemo as well as services like Uber, Domino’s, Spotify, Pandora, and NPR News. Amazon also recently updated the Echo and Echo Dot to enable calling and messaging, so you can use the devices to contact other Echo users or Android and iOS users that have the Amazon Alexa app installed on their devices.
